Any idea how to clean the crud out from behind the glass mounts in a red sea sump, without taking the glass off!!

I tried using a shower head on full power it's a tank I'm cleaning down to set up so at this point anything is viable

Well if it's separate and not in use maybe sock in in a brute with some citric acid overnight?

I have build up there also in my red sea sump. Like salt creep.
