Sump help, bubbles!

Hello, could use some help redesigning my custom DIY Sump / Refugium.

Having bubbles get into my return pump, due to the fall height from the last baffle before entering the pump return section.

Sump is relatively large, and high water level, and baffles tall.

What should I do to fix this?

That's a really good solution.

Otherwise, in just my opinion, you'd have to cut out the baffles and redo them. Looks like you have your baffles going from the fuge area to the return section setup as over>under>over. I think if you had reversed that to under>over>under, you wouldn't have that problem, and you'd still be minimizing microbubbles getting back into the tank.

I do see it looks like you have some sand in your sump that maybe that one baffle was supposed to hold back, but I don't think it's an ideal baffle arrangement.

Take a look at this, it may help:
