Hello! I have this sump which also comes with a reservoir for RODI water, which is currently serving its purpose. However, I don't really need or want to have my RODI reservoir inside my sump as it isn't practical to refill (I currently do it with another container next to my tank and a small pump).

So I'm thinking about removing the front glass of the RODI reservoir so that it would add water volume to my system as well as give me some extra space for gear.

My question is: would this cause some kind of issue with levels or any other potential problem?

Sorry if my question is dumb, but I'm new and still learning! Thanks in advance!

As long as it does NOT affect the current water level you should be fine

Thank you!
