Right I have a 30 gal display and looking to add 10 gal sump. My tank has 2 X 1 inch bulkheads drilled in the rear glass at the top. Where do I go from here. I can ether use both bulkheads to drain or 1 in 1 out. And what size piping should I use for return and what sort of spec pump also. Thank Ian

I'd try to drill a 3rd hole. This way you have one main drain and on emergency drain. If you have one drain and for some reason it gets stopped up...like with a snail...you take a chance of overflowing the tank.
