Mmm instead of splitting the drains into each filter sock the drain dumps in next to them and the socks work more like a filter floss. Actually not bad, then as they clog water will divert around them?

You could try it that way it may work really well. Alternatively perhaps tee off the drain after it enters the sump and divert the flow directly into each sock? Don’t glue the PVC tee or fittings then when you want to change the socks, pop off the Tee and access the socks easier.

Honestly, I might set it up how it is and see how it goes.

I thought about T/ ing them or trying it that way but it can’t be intended like that.
Going in the top would utilize more area and hold debris like clearing sand storm etc.
wounded if or why it’s like this more them anything.

Check your to see if the housing the pvc goes into is capped. I think water drains into the pvc and then up the tube to spill into the socks

Well doesn’t that answer my question.
Thank you.
The clear drain doesn’t go all the way to the bottom and should be capped
Now. Where to get a cap that fits.
I’m sure I’ll find it.
Thank you mastiffsrule.
