I've
Attached a pic if my sump. I'm getting a skim across the top of where my return pump is. Should I reverse the sump and have the return pump in the larger section. And have the flow coming out of the tank into the sump in the smaller section? I am also sock less at this point. Had one on and hated it. Might go with a floss basket later.

Add another baffle before the other two, that the water must go over. So water stays the same level for skimmer all the time, and water evapoation and refill fluctuation happens on the other side with return pump.

While you're at it might want to move the two that are there over so return pump area is a not as big

probably not going to add a baffle at this point. I will most likely get a larger sump in the next year.
