Sump question

As big as you can manage. The sump serves a few purposes. Filtration being the most important one for me. Then you have tank flow back when the return pump is off.

I would see i a 75 would fit in the stand. Bigger the better !
If the dimensions aren't right a custom sump could be built for a price of course.

I used a 55g on my 125g It was way to small for my style of reefin

+1 the bigger the better for TWV. I used a 75g on an 8 footer 300g and it did okay. Wished I'd have used a 125g.

55s aren't great sumps, because of the 12" width. A standard 75 would be better. I wouldn't go any smaller than that.
