Not me, but I know a couple people who have. It works OK but the big issue is temperature control. We are in SW Florida and for 5 or 6 months the high temp outside is in the 90's and garages get even hotter. And up north garages get freezing cold. One of the local guys had to insulate the garage door and add an in the wall AC unit just for the garage.

I'd think also if you put it in the garage, you'd have to be very selective of what aerosols, solvents or cleaners you use in the garage area. If you have a skimmer it will take whatever is in the air and actively blend it with the water.
