Has anyone ever put a cuke in a sump? If you had the appropriate guards for the skimmer and the return pump, would it matter? Would be a pretty good roomba

Should do good there as they feed in detritus and occasionally meaty foods

Which type of cucumber? Several get large and need a lot of food to scavenge. Make sure your sump is large enough.
