This counts as hardware, right?

I bought one of those baffle kits from BRS for a 29 gal sump. Went to Petco and grabbed a 29 gal aquarium. Tank should fit well within the dimensions of the stand. And it does. Can't get the darn thing through the doors though.

*face palm*

So, DT is already up and running. Cutting on the stand with a full aquarium on it seems like a bad idea.

Anyone know how to work out the maximum dimensions I could get inside the stand? Given the inner dimensions of the stand and the size of the opening?

Is the back of the stand open? If so, I'd just bite the bullet and drain the tank this one time to get the biggest sump you can fit in there. You'll be glad you have the space later.

I'm no expert, though - so I can't really help otherwise.

It isn't. Well it's open, but it's divided in the middle so that won't help. Plus I'd have a hard time getting equipment in and out because the sump would be too tall.
