Hello,
Im no whiz with the corals, but i love my sunnies. I feed a bunch of mysis and brine daily. My perameters aren’t completely perfect, but ive never had problems with these guys till now. They have a beautiful apetite and great extension still. All my other corals are fine, so what could be causing this? White pic is now blue pic is before.

maybe a shrimp picking at it....got any? Hard to say maybe too much flow
Maybe its just that...your parameters being off
Its been too uniformly progressing for me to fully suspect the shrimps, but worth considering. Its almost got a brown/green hairyness coming out of it. Pics above are two months apart.

Perameters:
Cal. 480
Alk 7.0
Salt .024
Temp 78f
Ph 8.0
Mag 1280

How long have you had the coral and how long has the tank been runing? Looks like lot hair algae growing. Got any full tank shots?
Ive had some turf algae/byropsis for a minute now. I kind of like it. Would that be what the stringies are?
