I am looking to buy one last fish for my 250+50l reef, and I was looking into the sunburst Butterflyfish. It seems it's the only one that's small enough to be okay to house in a tank that size. My question Is what are your experiences with these fish? I searched this forum and others and it was 50/50. Some say it is reef safe, others that it started eating zoas and micromusas, and even nipping on sps polyps. My current stock is 2 clownfish ocellaris, 2 azure damsels, an astrea snail, a hermit and a red tux urchin. I have a small aptaisia problem, which I killed w hot vinegar, but was hoping to get something that could possibly keep their population in check
I have zoas, mushrooms and a tridacna derasa in my tank, and planning on micromusas, acanthastrea stylophora and shelf montis, maybe a couple of cleaner shrimp as well.
