I don't if anyone else has come across this but I was looking into making my own super glue accelerator and came across a recipe of just water and baking soda. I had about 10 heads of frogspawn that I was fragging. I sprayed a little accelerator on the glue after I set the frag on the coral plug and it set well enough to let go after a few seconds and I could move onto the next frag. I didn't spray any on the flesh of the coral but I am not sure how much damage water and baking soda could do. It was rather nice to not have to sit there and delicately try to hold the coral steady on the plug waiting for the glue to dry well enough to let go.

I mixed about 160ml RODI water with about 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Also had a little spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide I repurposed that I got from the Dollar Tree.

My only concern would be burning my corals with it. People use baking soda to raise their alk.
