Hey all.
When testing Alk today.... My hanna checker came back as 13.2 DKH. I cross checked with a fluval checker, and it showed the same range.
I'm using Tropic Marin Pro Salt which is supposed to have a DKH of 7.
Things to note:
This tank has 175 SPS LPS frag in it, so it should be consuming Alk and Calc like crazy.
I have not dosed a single thing into this tank. No Kalkwasser, no All-for-Reef. Nothing.
Corals seem to be fine, and there is no alk burn on the corals I can see.
Absolutely lost here. No idea how the alk could be this high.
8.4 ph
1.026 sg
77 Fahrenheit
any ideas or advice.... lol
TIA
