Trying to make the switch over from seachem fusion to Tropic Marine All For Reef.

Please correct me if I’m wrong. My current tank is 120 gallon display with 30 gallon sump. Currently dosing 6ml per day of each seachem fusion 1 and 2.

The AFR gives you a starting point, its best to have PH and dKH were you want them when you start dosing. Then test frequently to watch what your tank parameters are doing. This may require more or less AFR, I would not base AFR dose amount to another product since the AFR may function differently. AFR is good at maintaining the numbers but dKH , calcium or magnesium may not maintain the level you want. I dose RedSea alkalinity part B (right now) to maintain my dKH due to consumption. The AFR is keeping the calcium and magnesium where I want it along with the trace elements.

side note: may take 2 to 3 days before the AFR starts working in your tank.

as posted above , remember that AFR has to break down before you can test like 48 hours

Seachem Reef Fusion claims (perhaps incorrectly as it seems too high to me) to be about twice the potency of AFR, so if you dose 6 ml now, a dose of 12 ml of AFR will match it.

AFR is 6,000 dKH
Reef Fusion Alk part claims to be 4400 meq/l = 12,320 dKH.
