I used IceCap electronic ballasts with mine...

From what I've read electronic ballast gives you a really blue look. On the HQI ballast you get the blue/white look which is what I'm looking for. I'll probably just keep using de 14k's or go to de 20k helios. I've used both and like the color they put out.

CoralVue ballasts here and I can actually adjust their color output anywhere from deep blue to whiter than they burn on my HQI ballast. There's a little screw (potentiometer) inside the ballast that, when turned CCW, increases the output power.

Yep that's the good thing about coralvue ballast you can adjust it.
