T5 Bulbs??

What bulbs are recommended for a 4 bulb set up.

I'd be willing to bet ATI Blue Plus is the most popular ( I run all Blue + in both my fixtures), then many add a Aqua Blue Special or Coral Plus to the mix for a whiter look.

I would do 2 B+ and 2 Coral+ personally, thats what I run in my hybrid..

Before you go all blue ( I know I said I like it) if I were you, maybe pick out one of the whiter bulbs in addition to the 4 blue plus, so you can experiment a little.

I run 2 Blue+ and 2 Actinic.

It really depends on the look that you want. If you like a very blue tank, the blue+ bulb has plenty of par so you can not go wrong running mostly if not all blue+. I would personally stay away from the Aquablue special. I find the bulb harsh and hard to balance out, especially with only four bulbs in the fixture. The Coral+ is a good choice, some also like to run a Purple+. The Purple+ bulb is one that people either love or hate as well.

As has already been mentioned, get a few extra bulbs so that you can play around with the combo and dial it in to what you want.
