Hi,
I am currentlt running 4 T5 48" 54 watt bullbs. They make quite a bit of algae on the glass because they are spaced out in an 8 bulb fixture. I purchased a Maspect L165 (65 watt) and a Nicrew Hyper Reef 30. The maxpect is supposed to be good enough to run on a 2x2x2 tank. So it should handle one half of my 90. On the other half I put the Nicrew. I have mostly soft corals. I trust more that the Maxspect is enough light but the Nicrew does do alot on the other half even though its 30 watts. They don't seem like enough though. And I miss my T5s when I take them down because of how much light they give. The tanks seems dark with the others and I can't get used to it. Plus I don't have shades and they give me a headache. I'll include some pics and ask how you think they fare. I could put my trumpet coral in my other tank. But even the shrooms and polyps act differently although they may just have been adjusting. There are things I like better about the leds and things I like less. I'd like to know if you think they are enough for the 90.

Stick with t5 if you like them more. What bulbs where you running and how often do you change them. I also have a 90 and run a 4 bulb fixture.
