2 bulb with 1 blue plus and 1 actinic. 6" mounting height. Hotspot of 120 par at 6" depth. 75ish on the edges. Tested with apogee mq510. Didn't have enough chain to drop it lower. That frosted stuff would probably work fine.

Nice thanks. 6 inches above the water or 6 inches under the water? My light is 2.5 inches from the water to the light and 8.5 from the light to bottom

Frosted tint <--- link haha

Will this work? Im concerned that it says it blocks uv... which im sure is just a lie anyways haha
Most plastics block light below 400nm. Amount depends on thickness as well.

Tubes have very little except some specialty ones.
Sample Actinic tube spectrum.

Note the "specialty" UV admitting plastics.

Eggcrate is light diffuser. Its used as a light deffuser in office spaces underneath tube lighting. Lol
Says it on it at the hardware store. Just ask for eggcrate light diffuser material. Usually in the lighting section by the lamps and fans.
U can double it up if it dosent diffuse enough.

I have a hard time believing your 2 bulb coralife fixture is too much light though fwiw.

Thanks. The manufacturer doesnt matter. The watts are the watts and ATI bulbs are ATI bulbs.

Probably not much more. 150 or so would be my guess at same depth.
BRS did a thing on radions at 6 inches and had a hotspot of 617 par. At 12 inches the hotspot was 351.

My hotspot obviously wont be as bad cause theyre T5. What i found interesting that i didnt realize is that with a lower mounting height the corners get LESS par. So i can play around with that at least haha.
