I have a T5 light for my 20g. Planning on getting some gsp and xenia. Would the T5 be enough from your guy's experience?

What fixture? Single or dual bulb? If single and 20 long tank, it will be enough to keep them alive, but not thrive. If dual bulb or better, then you will be fine.

Just note, if single bulb, you will need to avoid an actinic only bulb. Not much par at all on them.

I have a single bulb. Hmm, ok I may swap out for a better light then. Thank you!

Are blue lights (like the kessil tuna blue) better for these corals vs other white lights like the kessil sun?

If going kessil and you want to see the “pop” then tuna blue is your best bet.

if wanting to keep it budget friendly on a smaller tank like a 20 long or 20 high, then some of the cheaper fixtures on Amazon work great. There are a few that have a ton of reviews on the site and are less than a 100 bucks.

I have a 20 gallon long with the smaller viparspectra unit and have had great success with softies and zoas and a long tentacle anemone.
