okay right now I am running t5ho lighting on my tank two fixtures 1 24 inch 1 36 inch. the 24 inch is just slightly too short for what I need. So I have been looking at a similar fixture that is 30 inches with t5 regular lighting instead of h0. Can somebody tell me or clarify for me what the differences between t5 and t5ho are? spectrum and visually.

HO is for high output so its going to produce more par which is better.
thanks for the quick reply. So that's one angle. But what about look? Anyone have experience with both that can say if one looks better than the other. Or if its better to combine both. The t5ho I have is 55x24w 19" bulbs. Need slightly longer bulbs to reach sides of rockwork properly. The t5 is 6x 24w 24" bulb. Which would fit perfect. One extra bulb. A little less par per bulb. Fair? Will the color be different? I just don't know. And I can't throw around cash so I need to be sure. Thanks
