I’ve had a Tahitian butterfly for over 2yrs and same with my Aussie elegance coral. The butterfly never bothered it until about 2 days ago. I haven’t changed anything in my tank and I feed a LOT, the butterfly eats like a pig, even devours Nori.. and never seems to be full.

I’ve moved the elegance closer to a lavender mushroom coral which is hosted by clowns and they chase the butterfly away sometimes. Any suggestions what to do? He’s never bothered any other corals and doesn’t seem to touch my other lps or sps. My elegance has quadrupled in size since I got it and really thrived, now it’s been closed for 2 days, would hate to lose it. Thanks appreciate all ideas!

Once a fish starts nipping they don't stop. It's either the elegance or the butterfly.
