I have a little talbot damsel who just wont poop the poor guy, its been around a week or so and hes getting a little plump, i know he hasn't pooped because he has a little bit sticking out of him and hes been like that for a week. I feed him dry flakes and he eats them right as i put them in, so most likely thats the issue but how do i then solve the constipation problem?

I've never seen my fish poop, it doesn't mean they don't poop. Are you watching it 24 hours? If not, then how do you know it hasn't pooped?

Try incorporating some other foods into their diet, including frozen options like mysis or baby brine shrimp.

Based ion body mass, I dont see an issue and you are likely just missing it. If eating normal, i dint see need for concern

Like i said you can clearly see a piece of poop sticking out of him and its been like that for a week
Likely excess mucus binding the feces especially if feeding fatty foods such as Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp and even pelleted foods

That’s possibly a prolapsed intestine from constipation.

I wonder if you tried some frozen adult brine shrimp? The shells of those act as a laxative. They aren’t a complete diet though.
