I currently only keep a reef tank, but I filmed in Lake Tanganyika and I did a doc series on the fish that live there.

Today I will premiere the 5th chapter on youtube at 21:00 (GMT+1:00).

Please bear in mind that this is a one man job. I just decided to go there and film the fish in the lake instead of replacing my 800 USD car.

In what concerns fish behaviors, this lake is second to none.

Most of the footage was shot without human presence and I edited over 500 hours of underwater footage to make these films.

The title of the 5th chapter is "Queens of the shallows". Interpret it as you wish :)

Here it is:

I already finished the whole series (7 chapters) and I will be uploading them in the next couple of weeks.

Back in 2011 I did another series, but I filmed it at home. I placed the tank outside my door and filmed it with 3 cameras. I edited over 1100 hours of video, I still can't believe I did that.

Here's the trailer of the 1st series:

After this I got the impossible dream of filming these fish in the wild.
