Tallebudgera Reef - Aussie SPS dominated

In this build I took the time to build the rock scape with PVC and 3D printed connections, covered with rock rubble. It was a lot of work, but it allows me to customize the shape and position of corals as they grow, by replacing parts of the structure. For small adjustments, I can 3D print small extensions that connect to the plug holes and shape them with a hot gun.
Additionally, for the longest time, I wanted to make the base of the rocks hollow, to increase the number of fish hiding spots and expose more of the sandbed for critters that use it. It doesn't show on the photos, but the entire sandbed is exposed and there is no obstructions, so fish can swim under the rocks the entire length of the tank. It is amazing to watch them coming out from basically anywhere.

Placing all corals in plugs was also a gamer changer, not only for aquascaping, but also for pest control, specially AEFW.

The result was way better than I anticipated.
