Okay so far i have a 265 gal reef tank I have

2 Clowns
Mandarin
yellow clown goby
small black clown goby
starry blenny
3 wrasses i believe
lemon peal tang small
powder blue tang large
yellow tang large
kole eye tang small/med
tomali tang small/med

I have a person breaking down their tank and they have a large salfin and large hippo tang. do you think it will be okay for me to add them to my 265. they also have a lamarks angel but for whatever reason it scares me thinking about adding him to my tank seeing 50% eat corals and 50% dont from what i read.

Of course the only one I would worry about is the powder blue. I have a good sized one alomg with a bigger desjardini sailfin and he picks on him constantly. Its getting to the point where I am going to pull the powder blue and put him in my frag system for a couple months to calm him down. Of course this is in my 180 and you have an additional 2'of length, how is his temperament now?

If you could get a couple acclimation boxes to see how he reacts to them would def be nice. These guys are so hit and miss

Honestly it depends on the tangs. Adding two at a time works in your favor.

Keep in mind that large tangs are exponentially high bio load items so be sure to increase nutrient export and do more water changes
