What are the chances of a Mimic Tang (Acanthurus pyroferus) and a Blue eyed tang (Ctenochaetus binotatus) getting on?

I think if you have a big enough tank and you add them at the same time they should be alrite given that they are both on the docile side of all tangs

What size is your tank?
I've always heard that you should not put 2 of the same shape together.
I don't even think putting them in at the same time will help.
You can put 3 or more.

Some people have said to re-arrange the rocks or to do it at night when the lights are off, but I've never had luck with these suggestions.

Its for a friends 4x2x2.

I thought with one being Acanthurus and the other Ctenochaetus, they would maybe be ok :/

The only tang that was a terror was the sohal. Any sohal over 12 inches in less then 700 gallon tanks become killers.

In reef tanks they will chase fish and break corals easily.
