Tang police question?

I have a tommini tang in my tank... 55 gallon corner tank... it seems to like it...

Very true. Mine was but he was also very happy in a 60g cube for 2 years as king of the reef. I did upgrade and he is no longer the king but swims much more back n forth. Can you do it...yes
Will the animal be happier in a bigger tank...yes

I wasn't talking about a Blue Tang and if you don't know the difference that explains a lot.

Paracanthurus Hepatus is the fish with many names .... hippo, palette, regal and blue tang. Different from the Atlantic blue tang of course. Must confess that none of mine have ever spent time laying on their side ... but I’ve only been in the hobby for 34 years ..... rookie :)

5 tangs in a 125g reef. Have had all these fish for 3 years plus and the Sohal for 2 years. The yellow tankg I had in a 14g biocube till it got big enough to put in the 125g

. It stayed in the biocube for 6 or so months with no problems. If you get a healthy fish that's small you can always take it to your LFS and replace it with another smaller healthy fish when it gets too big.

Get any small tang and either get a bigger tank or rehome when they outgrow. Tang police can kiss my tang
