I do not want to brag but there are 4 nice tanks here in Sioux Falls for SPS colony tanks.

One is my best friend Travis....he is on here but rarely posts. He is on RC as Travis, also.

Another is a guy I am trying to get on this site. He has a nice cube also. His name is Phil and on RC he is Dakota Reef....

The last is Nic, a guy that Travis, Phil and I took under our wing and showed what we know for information and knowledge on SPS and saltwater in general. He is UrbanSage on RC.

Quite a few tanks here in the aritic tundra of South Dakota.

Thanks for looking and posting.

These are some pics of the 48"x 48" x 20" cube tank I have as a frag system. It is on a seperate sump, pump, skimmer, chiller and such. I consider it one of my frag tanks. People hate me for this, but got a great deal on it and sold my 210 I had as a frag tank. I do not need 2 displays to keep clean.

The tank was kinda dirty this, was after my sickness spell I had this fall.....so if not so clean you know why.

thanks for tagging along

Now onto my chalices, they are in a frag tank hooked to the main system. It is a 1" thick 48" long 12" wide and 12" tall tank.

It is lit by 2 250 watt 20k XM metal halides. They are on for 6-8 hours. Low flow through the system as for new water from the system, but has on 2 maxi jet mods of 1600 gallons per hour each.....so I think it is like 110 turnovers of water movement. More than most people I think.....

If you are a chalice nut......what is your turnover.

Post here. ......No one really posting in the chalice information thread I started... so post here.

I had an issue with a weird algae for a while. That has gone away now......now I deal with sweepers and stinging corals.

Oh well they are all growing.

I do know why we pay good $$$ for some chalices. They are proven and grow nicely and keep their colors.

I have some proven and some not proven for less $$ that are not doing the best.

I am trying so please look past a couple dead or dying ones.

If you have pointers let me know, if just trying to be mean then PM me and have fun.

I am trying to stay in order.....I have a couple shots in next round.....That will be this week. Then I have very little in DEC and then I will go into crazy equipment.

So people can see how much $$ I have in my tank and break into the house and steal it all......then I CLAIM INSURANCE......start over.....ehehehehehehe
