Tangtastic yellow eye aggressively grazing

I have a kole tang that won’t eat any frozen, nori, or pellet but grazes the rocks like a lawnmower... just all day aggressively grazing... it poops in the same place too seems like ... not worried about it as I have green algae growing so there’s plenty to graze on.. it and my other two plus snails completely cleaned my diatom (new tank) issue.. now the green is coming but they’re on top of it.. I have a lot of coraline coming in too.. anyways.. that kole tang is crazy lol. Very very animated and hungry.

Your best CUC. They are fantastic diatom eaters - one of those in an aquarium - no diatom issue whatever.

Maybe not a bad 'problem' to have, right? Just curious whether you have had him long, and whether any other fish eat the nori (I assume from a clip) that he can 'learn' from? Best wishes.

The old standby is to rubber band the nori to a rock. Sooner or later he will find it. You can try a similar trick with Easy Reefs' Masstick.
