I can not find my male blue stripe pipefish that healed from his injuries inflicted on him by the much larger Janss pipefish. I think the Janss finally finished him off as he was chasing him since I added him. I didn't think a pipefish from a different species would care, but so much for reading the mind of a pipefish.
He swims by here 22 seconds into the video. Murderer that he is.

Fish #1, fish #2, fish #3 etc. Thats about it. I don't name them or have a ceremony when they die. I also don't celebrate their birthdays, anniversaries, or graduations.

My Grand Daughter Greta named them all Greta

I had an uncle Sammy that had 14 dogs. He was a kind of weirdo. He was also a loner so these dogs were born in the house, died in the house and basically lived out their life there.
A neighbor complained that he didn't have licenses for these dogs, and he didn't. He was also kind of illiterate.

So he had to get dog licenses. He went to where ever you do that and the Lady asked him the dogs names. He said, they are dogs, they ain't got no names. She said they have to have names to get licenses.

So he said OK. That is Big Terry, Little Terry, White Terry, Black Terry, Stupid Terry, Smart Terry, Big Prince, Little Prince etc.

I did my wc with nsw about an hour ago and you know Paul B, you were right, I think I did see my blue tang smiling!! They all look much more active than usual.

It was great this morning. We went out to breakfast like we do on Sundays, then to the Italian store to get some last minute stuff like shrimp cocktail to feed 40 people.
It is so nice to see so many people out shopping and making preparations for my birthday tomorrow. It makes me all tingly.

My male pipefish didn't show up for roll call this morning so i am sure the Janss pipefish made toast out of him. He was near the end of his lifespan anyway so I hope he will rest in peace, or wherever pipefish rest. It's a shame he couldn't enjoy Christmas.

I tested my nitrates and I am happy to say they are down to about 100. Not to bad

Merry Christmas anyone who still reads this thread. :)

I didn’t realize your tank had almost zero flow. Sorry to hear about your pipefish. He lived a nice and long life. As for your 100 nitrates.... wait a week[emoji13]

Merry Christmas and Happy birthday!

Merry Christmas & Happy Birthday, Paul!

Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Paul. Please wish Mrs B a Merry Christmas for me.

WOW, Thanks guys. I leave for a few hours and get a TON of Happy Birthdays. It makes me feel all warm and tingly.
A special thank you too Paleozoic. Nice to meet you.

I had a great Christmas and Birthday and I hope all you fantastic people did also. Well, only if it was your birthday of course, if not, then just about the Christmas thing but I am sure most of you have a birthday at some time. :D

WE just got home from out Kids/Grand Kids in Manhattan and I just started to play with my "toys". I also had to feed my fish because they have not eaten in a few days. But they get over it. :D

We all went to this little church in Lower manhattan which is supposed to be one of the oldest churches in the City. It's Saint Joseph Church of the West Village or something like that. They have a fantastic choir from NYU up the block. Very nice.
I hope everyone got what they wanted.
