I also don't know what a Zimmer frame is. She has a full leg brace that she wears outside when she goes for a walk with her walker. It helps to keep her leg straight but won't do anything to prevent falls.
I got her one of those things she wears around her neck so if she falls it contacts me. If I don't answer, it calls a neighbor and if they don't answer, it calls 911. It makes me feel much better when I am not with her.
We go to many parties or house dinners here as we have many close friends and when she is sitting down, you wouldn't know anything is wrong. Getting her upstairs is very difficult and she normally does that backwards as it is much easier. I usually have to move her right leg from one step to the next one, but we make it work.

That was 45 years ago. Those are nearly platform shoes you were sporting!

I put one in my last house for my Mother N Law. In this condo where we now live, I bought the place because there are no stairs inside and I was able to put in an elevator outside to get in the front door.I know you know about the chair lifts that mount to the wall for carrying people up a flight of stairs. Not sure if this would be something viable but may be worth looking into. Heck, knowing you, you could probably build one, once your bad wing heals up, and make it a Steam Punk lift!

This was also probably 30 or 40 years ago. I played Santa for over 40 years.

Yeah, we have those here as well. She has something similar but with wheels and brakes for when she needs it to be steady. She also has a powered chair that we use outside
I dont know for sure but with some of what I see on the paper towel looks like maybe some type of Caulerpa. I love Caulerpa just not in a reef display, grows too fast. I use a few types in my refugium always have.I need help on my reef. I have this macro growing pretty fast.![]()
I didn't remove it because I kind of like it. I don't know what it is and am having trouble finding out. It may be tropical or from the Long Island Sound behind my house where, over the years, I collected a lot of water. It appeared a couple of months ago although I have not collected water in about a year and a half.
It is about 3" thick. I have been removing some of it from the edges because I don't want it covering the tank like my invasive sponge did but I don't want to remove all of it. It is difficult to cull it now just using my left hand but I want to keep it in check. If it gets too invasive, and my shoulder heals, I may try to remove it but for now, it stays
Does anyone know what it is exactly? Some seaweeds are very similar but not quite it. It is covering about a square foot. Very cool, but I would like to identify it.

Other pics of Cladaphora kinda might look like it? Not sure. So, I'm not too confident either but it is a neat website. Maybe spread it out and give it a new pic.
I like it so far. If I feel I want to remove it, I will have to wait until my arm works better. I also have to wear gloves because this guy:I have no idea what it is but i like the way it looks in your tank. That blue highlight on the tips is nice!

what is the fish salt water piranha ?I like it so far. If I feel I want to remove it, I will have to wait until my arm works better. I also have to wear gloves because this guy:
Will tear my arm off.
That algae (whatever it is), I would like to plant on the other side of my tank, but I am holding off for a while to see if it covers my tank. The good part is that it doesn't seem to cover the corals.
Yes also known as a tomato clown, or demon.what is the fish salt water piranha ?
I once maintained a large fish only tank in a Chinese restaurant. There were a pair of spawning tomato clowns in there. Woe betide anybody who put their hands in the tank anywhere near them. The teeth on them are enough to warn you of what maybe should you test them.Yes also known as a tomato clown, or demon.
