Thanks guys. Her appointment is this Friday. She has to go tomorrow for all the pre surgery nonsense and blood tests

Pain just sucks! The two of you make a wonderful couple.

Thanks, yes, so far. She is my starter wife for the first 51 years. And she still likes me. 😎 I think it's because I have a fish tank. 🙄

Cold, 30 degrees, snowy, beach walk this morning

Mike, Happy New Year. I got that Tomini tang as a baby a couple of years ago and now as an adult, I have never seen her bully or even speak to another fish. And I have many small gobies, bleenies, dragonettes and other fish

Similar experience with my tomini tang. Once they settle in, eat as much as they want, and have lots of rock to weave around in they couldn't care less who is in the tank

Your money... maybe
I met my wife when she was 12 and I was 18 so we didn't go out. I went out with her older cousin. When I got home from basic training I was 20 and she was 15, but looked like 18 and everyone told me she was 18 so for a couple of years, I didn't know her real age. The drinking age was 18 and I was taking her to bars, dancing and all that. (It's in my new book)

After I got out of Nam and the Army, I asked her to marry me, thinking she was 18. She wasn't and was still in high school, so we had to wait until she was 18. We never lived together or any of that, like most people today do.

I was 24 and at 24 didn't have much money. I spent my entire salary from Nam for her ring, then saved for our wedding, which in New York was quite expensive. 😬

WOW! That in itself is some story Paul. You have a devoted wife and it's obvious you are also devoted to her. Congratulations on your long marriage. Something of a rarity these days. 👏

Well Atoll. When you are as good-looking as I am. It all comes naturally. 🤣

Well, we are definitely Soul Mates and hang out with each other every day. Besides being married for 51 years, we are still the best of friends, and I couldn't have picked a better life partner. Her Birthday is this month and I am trying to figure out what to get her.

It's hard to travel now due to her handicap, so I think I will just take her to a B&B for a couple of days. We are invited to Florida by a few of our friends, as we did last year. But it is a horror flying and navigating in a wheelchair that she needs in an airport. Then we have to bring a walker and all that besides getting a handicapped equipped place to stay. Our friends' places are not that accessible.
