Tank birthday, 55+ years

My Grand Kids live there so I have to go in about once or twice a year. I know there are 8,000,000 people living there and I still can't believe people live there "on purpose" if they don't have to. I worked there all my life and just don't get it as there are so many much nicer places to live like Beirut, or Somalia, even one of the moons of Saturn. 🙄

I hope for your sake its not bryopsis. That stuff is extremely tuff. Even a pressure washer wont get it. I wonder if hydrogen peroxide would disolve it? I am sure Randy would know.
Fluconazole is almost magic against Bryopsis. It interferes with the cell walls somehow and takes it out quickly with almost no ill effects on the rest of the tank, except any fungi of course. It isn't nearly as good as a general algaecide though. It does sort of work but more slowly. Paul's algae doesn't look like any Bryopsis I've seen but then it just needs a similar cell structure.

I'm not sure if it is some type of broypsis. I have never seen this type of macro before, and as I said, it may be from the sea here, although I have also never seen it in the sea.

This morning at the beach.

Wow!

Very bad night. My wife, Dale got that horrible pain back in her mouth.
Trigeminal Neuralga. Then at 2:00 am she fell on the floor.

Not good at all. I will call her Dr. as soon as the office opens. The last procedure she had didn't last long at all.

She is better this morning. I spoke to her Dr. and we will wait to see if it returns. I just hope it doesn't return on the weekend when I can't do anything. This is an ongoing horrible roller coaster.

I have to go for a blood test this morning, so I went to the beach for my walk long before sunrise. Not a good sunrise picture. 🥺

Still kinda cool

A friend of ours took a picture of us in Vermont and AI it to make us pioneers. I am on the right, and my wife is in the front.

A rabbitfish would likely eat all of that algae. Of course, once the
algae is gone, the fish would likely starve to death.
My gold lined rabbitfish readily eat frozen foods including krill

Thanks my friend Atoll. We never know what the next day will bring. I think next week we have to go to Manhattan because my Son N Laws Dad died and they are having a service. I am dreading it because I have to bring her electric chair and walker on an Uber. It's during the week so I can't drive there.
I had no luck trying to tell her to stay home and I would go by myself.

Well good luck, I hope it's an uneventful trip there and back for you both.
