This time of year UPS is working overtime getting packages moved. They have limited time for handling packages, this causes them to rough handling at times. Its not done on purpose, but its the time constraints.

It's that time of the year for UPS to mess up all packages. I purchased from several places online around Monday. 9 packages were suppose to have arrived on Dec 2. Only 1 arrived. 6 were delayed within my same state. 1 was misplaced/misloaded and never arrived and is now scanned into my city and hasn't been put out for delivery. That gift happens to be my wife's Diamond bracelet from Zales. Co-incidence, I think not. The last one went to another state and is now making it back to my state. SMH UPS.

Even USPS has delivered all my packages through them on time without delays.

i sometimes think that UPS and the likes will purposely throw packages even it said fragile or not get to your place on time when the box saids "live fish" so that next time ppl will avoid using their company and less work for them! especially during holiday seasons where they are so busy and frustrated. I once called UPS to try to put in a complaint for the driver/delivery and the rep told me they can't do that, basically you can't complaint even if the package is late or broken multiple times.
I absolutely agree with its unreal how rough they are with the boxs. But if it was the drivers box thing would be it mint shape. That's unreal that you can't call and make a complaint against them and they won't do anything about it. Ups is a stright dive!!!!

Honestly, I don't think it is due to the workers not caring about the packages; it is more so of the expectations UPS put on the workers to accomplish such as the time length a truck should be loaded/prep to move out to the next location or the time length a delivery driver has to deliver each package to each home in a days time. Ever noticed the delivery guy dropping off a package and running back to his truck and speed off?

The problem is, if they won't be held accountable for their actions and/or package damages, no matter how expensive or even lost of live (fish), and they get paid no matter what, why would they spend that extra second or two to bend their back and lay down your package nicely?

Last time I ordered fish from DD not only was the driver 7 hrs late (arrived at 4pm) but also he didn't have the decency to ring my door bell to let me know, I have to keep on pressing F5 on their tracking page and realized; Oh, it was "Delivered".

This kind of things make me not want to order from vendors or places that strictly uses UPS and do not give you a option of choosing or even upgrading to Fedex...

I do agree that this time of year is stressfull for them, with all the gifts going around the world. i know they are on a deadline with fast shipping times. But the ups guy that does my area I have seen him toss package to the fron door and drive away. I just hope they show a little care to the boxs. When I was younger I use to be on the back of a garbage truck picking up house hold trash now if I didn't like the house and smashed there barrel that would of been my last day. Now if the ups guy smashes our packages the company does not care and that's not wright at all. Because of the size of the company they can get away with what they want and if you try to go after them for a replacement they have the best lawyers in the world on the payroll. And us as hard working people cant afford to go after them for a replacement. That's how I feel about the subject I am not calling them bad people I am just looking for them to have some respect to our packages.

The company does care. If you catch them doing it they will lose their job. It isn't likely to be a UPS driver doing it, they've been with the company too long to make it to driver. It more likely happened in a sorting facility.

I love BRS. Their customer service answered all my "dumb" questions and were soooo nice. I'm definitely a customer for life.

Remember to all guys it's the holiday season and if you have nothing holiday related to ship than IMO it can wait.
Can you imagine 700.000.000 packages shipped from Cyber Monday till Christmas day............ and that is only UPS.
I would think something can go wrong but it always will be taken care off.

dang must be the season. I just ordered a IM Nuvo 30L from Marine Depot and it arrived broken :( Was sitting on it's side on my porch. Be calling them on Monday and hope they send out a new one right away.
Did you talk to MD? If so how did they sent you a new tank?
