Hello everyone!
I started to fill up my water and wanted to double check with y’all to make sure it’s good (level wise) I have a reefer 170 and this is my first sump system. Do we think this is pretty level? First time filling it, have my rock and sand in it!

**EDIT I'm leveling this on carpet with composite shims**

Not bad, but not close enough to perfect. I'd strive to get that bubble dead center. It'll be worth it. I leveled the stand, stand plus dry tank, had to tweak it a little here, and then stand and tank wet.

I’ll do my best, I’m using a pretty small leveler and on a larger one it’s pretty centered, but I’ll drain it again and tryi to fix it. Super anxious about it.

Ouch about the carpet, my reefer P500 is on tile/concrete. I don't think you have to drain it, leveling with it's finished weight should be ok for a short time while getting it level. I'm assuming you have the adjustable feet? Back off a hair on all the feet but the corners then play with the corners to get it level then snug all the feet up that seem loose. Which level is better quality that you have? Go off that one.

On a small tank you're probably right, my ocd kicks in sometimes.
