Ready to upgrade to a larger tank. Unfortunately I am limited on space.

Any suggestions or advice on placing a new tank this close to my front door? I am worried it may be too big. Not too concerned about the window, as my current tank is located there and hasn’t had any issues. This is only a mock-up and I realize the actual tank may be bigger or smaller.

Looking to get a Red Sea 350 or a Waterbox 110. Both are 4’ tanks (48”) and window to door is 5’ (60”).

Thanks for looking!

Other than someone potentially banging into the tank whenever they come in the front door, no. That's probably a higher likelihood than you may think (just going off how often I bump into my own tank - and it's tucked all the way inside a corner room in the basement).

Good point. With two young daughters and a young weimaraner, that’s bound to happen. Thanks!
