Hey everyone,
I have a 65 gallon tank that I just upgraded from a 33 about a month ago. Have two juvenile clowns, coral beauty and bristletooth tang. Yesterday noticed the tang and coral beauty struggling to breathe but the clowns and coral were fine so I moved tang and angelfish into a 15 gallon cube I’ve had running for a few months and they recovered overnight. Fish store didn’t have tests so I tested at home nitrites were 0 nitrates were low and ammonia was 0. Since then I’ve done about a 35% waterchange and put the tang back into the 65 and looks pretty lethargic again. Not sure what the issue is but it’s definitely frustrating to say the least. My only thought would be not enough oxygen in the water so I’ve had powerheads pointed at surface and added an air stone. Any advice helps thanks.
