Hello, my tank is just finishing its cycle and I've been reading up on quarantine vs ttm. Given I'm in Canada and it's very difficult to source reliable meds for quarantine (I don't trust ordering illegal medication off amazon). I'm thinking TTM is the best option for me. My initial stock wishlist for my 75 gallon is as follows. 3 scissortail firefish/goby, 1 shrimp goby, 2 sebae clownfish, 3 Springerii damsels, 2 Bangaii cardinals. Given the small size of all of these fish would a 3.5 gallon tank be sufficient for TTM? This is the one I'm thinking of getting. It's basically the same price as getting 5 gallon storage totes, plus foam filters and heater. I am aware I need to buy heaters for these.
This was the tote I was looking at getting if the little tank isn't appropriate. https://www.homedepot.ca/product/tu...orage-utility-tote-box-snap-on-lid/1000740279

I would not go less than a 20g high but ideal is always a 40 breeder. May seem large now but as you accumalte fish, you will appreciate the room

You use a 40g breeder to do tank transfer method prior to introducing fish to your display tank?? So you set up 2, 40 gallon breeders and completely change the water on days 4, 7 and 10??

This tank is too small for that many fish. You don’t want to add that many fish to your DT at one time anyway. You should run them through in perhaps 3 batches. I’m also worried that the springers may fight.

That all said, I’d steer clear of TTM, it really only works against ich. I stopped using TTM back in the mid-80’s

If you can’t get coppersafe and prazi, Hyposalinity is a much better option than TTM. Hypo controls ich AND flukes and also helps control brooklynella. The only thing it doesn’t work with Amyloodinium, but that’s fairly rare to see.

Im not going to be adding all these fish at the same time, sorry for the confusion. I can't edit my post to make it more clear.

I plan on adding 1 species at a time. Which is why I was wondering if they would tolerate a 3.5 gallon for the 13 days or not.

I was planning on doing humblefish hybrid ttm with peroxide baths.

I've had only good experience with Amazon - I ordered Copper Power (.ca), General Cure (.com, direct from API) and PraziPro (.com, direct from Hikari) without issues.

The other option is to order from https://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/, it's a reputable shop and they ship to Canada (I received mine after about two weeks), although I think they only have Cupramine, and no Prazi.

For professional reasons I can't risk ordering illegal medications.

I suggest reaching out to Ethical Aquatics or Reef Paradise. They both run businesses, quarantine their fish and treat them prophylactically with copper, Prazi, and other medications before sale.
