Tank upgrade means more fish!

I’m not sure if I’m a beginner or not! I’ve been keeping freshwater fish for over 20 years and been working on my reef for over two. I can keep fish alive, though I worry about feeding a picky copperband. I have the time & resources to figure it out. Just doing my due diligence at the moment before I decide to pull the trigger.
Awesome. I have a huge heart for these fish and I myself have not gotten certain fish because I’d be broken to have a fish die because of my arrogance. I recently lost a Flame Hawk after taking every precaution from watching the fish for weeks at my LFS to a week long spell in an acclimation box and after 3 days I found it dead in the tank. Crushed!

Any idea what happened?

He was eating fine. He was in the acclamation box for about a week little less than a week five days I believe and seem to be doing well. I let him into the tank and he dove to the bottom, went into the rocks swim into the little area, where I have twin yellow tanks and they chased him out he was in and out of the rockscape for a couple days. In fact, my wife named him Waldo know because we are always looking for Waldo and one morning. He didn’t come out for food and I found him in the back of the tank on the bottom dead.

Ok, so here is where I am. Will be a 4' 100 gallon tank.

Currently have:
2 clowns
lawnmower blenny
pajama cardinal
scissortail firefish
yellow watchman goby
flameback angel
pictus goby

Looking to add:
magnificent foxface
copperband butterflyfish
yellow & white banded possum wrasse
midas blenny
royal gramma
diamondtail flasher wrasse
exquisite flasher wrasse

Should I drop anything from this list? Would it be too heavily stocked (my 40 breeder handles the 8 I have with no issue and minimal water changes - nitrates <1 and phosphates 0.03 - 0.05)? Any should be added last?

Thanks!
I love this place! Lots of info. When you are ready to start adding reach out. I have most of these fish and will happily make you videos so you can browse my inventory and answer any questions you may have.
