Now after all preparation drilling holes,ordering plumbing etc it seems that I must replace the caulk, and im a Lil nervous about messing it up or going to far into corner any suggestions thanks

What kind of tank?

Also, post some pictures. I re-seal tanks all of the time. If I saw what you were working with, I may be able to make a few suggestions.

From what I can see in these photos, there is no reason to reseal this tank.

Are there specific areas of concern? Maybe you could provide closeups of those areas. Also a full tank shot helps.

You could also fill it with water, leave it in a garage and watch it for a week to see how it holds up.
 
Dom i did do the water test! Aces!! I drilled the tank! It sat for a couple years and if you zoom in on it you can see just a couple ar e as that I ts frayed, but I wasn't sure that's why I asked, if you could zoom in its around the bottom of tank! I did test w my finger so im not sure, please take a zoomed look you'll see the areas im talking

Yes if you could zoom in on each Pic you can see it on the ends and on the one side of tank thank you
 
I see the spots you are speaking of, and I don't feel there is anything to be worried about.
