Tasty starfish?

Something seems to have taken a bite out of my starfish anyone seen this before?

I've seen complete arms missing before on fellow reefers sea stars.

I fear for the worst I googled what's eating my starfish and apparently they ditch there legs in effort to need less nutrients once they've depleted their food source. Long winded way to say he's starving to death,
