I know my TDS meters are calibrated to 392 TDS or there abouts from the factory. However, when do they need to be calibrated based on the tap water content? My tap is about 600-800 depending on the day and I'm not sure I'm getting accurate readings.
My cheapo handheld that is ancient often gives me .001 then will bounce to .000 and back and forth. My inline BRS meter has remained at .000. Is it possible this is due to temperature or some other contaminants?
Any help would be appreciated. I have 35ppt salinity fluid. Can I use that to calibrate it?
