When starting a new RODI, you may need to run it for several hours the first time.
At 10ppm, we don’t know where the issue is, it could be bad membrane, which would exhaust your DI super quick, or incorrect DI, or exhausted DI, all might lead to a 10ppm reading.
You need to check the TDS, right after membrane. If it has not reduced source water by at least 95% of the original source water, than that is gone.
If it is working, your (say 100ppm for example) incoming will be say 5ppm. That’s working.
Then move to the last stage, DI. If your not getting 0 after this stage, it can be.
-has not run long enough after newly set up.
-is incorrect type, you need mixed bed both positive and negative.
-is dried out or simply exhausted.
-water is not following through the media.
Maybe those things you can check.
Me, I don’t use water above 2ppm.
I don’t know what the 10ppm is made up of.
