Teal Candy Cane Coral Tissue Swelling

This coral started splitting about 2 months ago then it stopped mid-split and the tissues started swelling. I no longer see the feeding tentacles and it has been like this since mid January. Could this be caused by an infection or virus? Everything was completely normal before the split started.

Can you post a picture in white lights only please so we can see better? Can you post your parameters, tank age, type of lighting and flow please? Do you use rodi or tap water? How are other corals doing? Thanks

Here are some photos of the tank showing 2 candy cane corals. The first FTS was Dec 1. The second FTS is from today. The tank is a 120 gallon mixed reef that was set up a little over a year ago. I use RODI with a ATO and I have an Inkbird temp controller set to maintain between 78.0 and 78.5.

Salinity: 1.027
Kh: 8.1 (8-9)
CA: 435 (ranges 420-450)
MG: 1380 (ranges 1380-1420)
K: 380 (ranges 380-410)
PO4: .07 (ranges .06-1.0)
NO4: between 25-40

I dose buffer and NeoPhos everyday to maintain levels and 2 ml of Quantum Nitrate Remover to offset Nitrate.
I follow the Triton method, so I dose trace elements and haven't done any water changes since June. I just mailed off an ICP test. The last ICP test was Dec 1.

Thats a beautiful tank, and I'm sorry but I got no idea's for you, there's nothing in the parameters or tank that I can see, maybe it is an infection or maybe someone else has idea's. Sorry that happened and good luck to figure it out.

Thanks. I'm growing everything out for now so it's overfilled. Eventually I'll move most of the LPS and all of the soft corals to a second tank. I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this. I did start adding a little zinc and nickel periodically since the last ICP test. I'm curious to see if the latest ICP test I just mailed shows anything off.
