Living in South Florida can be challenge with temperature control. Adding additional devices into a sump such as heaters, carbon reactors, skimmers and just dealing with humidity makes it a challenge. My tank temperature has been running between 80- 81° and as we know, chillers not only expensive but also not necessarily viable option. But I purchased a little clamp on fan that can also be hung by Gaiatop, it’s a rechargeable battery operated fan that can run on the USB connection, and it dropped my temperature over eight hours by 2°. The cost of this fan was $12 on Amazon.

I've got a similar setup! It's a usb fan (think camping tent type) plugged into a Smart outlet, when my house temp gets above a certain degree it kicks in. At that point its my heater vs my fan controlling temp :)
