Hey guys, here's my scenario.

I have a fan that cools my tank. It seems to have issues fluctuating between 76 and 82 (higher when fan is off).

I'd like the fan to shut off when the water temp is 77-78. Is there a switch out there that shuts off when a water temp is reached?

So it'd work kind of like those mechanical timers.

Thanks guys

I know someone has to do something similar

The fan I have is here

This temperature swings too violently for my liking (75 to 82)

I wanna keep it stable as possible. So having a switch that will turn my fans on/off when the temp is above/below my desired temp of 77. It would be best!

My heater doesn't seem to be consistent enough to keep the temp at 77 if I turn my fans on all day... So it's a tough problem!

If you have an Apex, use the chiller option. I have my temp probe set if temp gets to a certain degree it will shut off my lights for 30 mins also.
