Hi! I posted about basically the same thing a little while ago about a tank upgrade and got relevant advice. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't able to upgrade. Since then, I've moved 11 fish tanks (including my saltwater) and a bunch of other things, like helping a friend in a hobby drive their 7 tanks of fish across the country to their new home. Have you ever had an arowana jump out of its tank during cleaning? I'm finally over the chaos and am ready to start planning the tank.
I recently purchased the tank (93 gallons with an approximately 20 gallon sump), but I like to plan everything out ahead of time. All of the filtration is already planned. There is going to be live sand and rock from the older tank, as well as a ton of new rock and sand. I'm going to be moving 1 Duncan and 3 giant hammer coral heads to this new tank in the next few months, but I need some advice for stocking. I'm incorporating feedback from the last time I did this.
CURRENT STOCKING:
Clownfish (2)
Filefish (1)
Six Line Wrasse (has been incredibly chill, which is very unlike most 6-lines) (1)
POSSIBLE ADDONS:
Magnificent Foxface (1)
*Butterflyfish (1) (I think it's a bad idea, especially given the wrasse and the fact I can't feed multiple times per day, but I'll leave it open for discussion)
Tang (ABSOLUTELY THE LAST FISH IN THE TANK BY AT LEAST 2 MONTHS) (1 of the options)
a. Sailfin Tang (desjardinii)
b. Purple tang (Hesitant due to aggression)
c. Two-Spot Bristletooth
Redstripe Angelfish (1)
Lamark Angelfish (1)
I don't think any wrasses work due to the six-line, but if that's not true prove me wrong. (Silently hoping since I love wrasses, but I'm prepared to have my dreams crushed).
That's it (excluding cleanup and coral). I am open to suggestions on other fish to add, but if you disagree with my choices, please explain why and offer an alternative. Also, unlike most people, I dislike intense coral searches so ideas for coral would be appreciated!
