Tenecore diy nano nem tank

Finally got around to putting the diy tank togeather a couple weeks ago and gave it a good and long water test. Im really happy with how it turned out. I have my random flow nozzle and noopsyche k7 mini showing up later today so I can get it filled up and move some rock and nems from my other tank over.

Plan is to stock this with a couple of small watermellon bubbletips, porcelain crab, a shroom or two and some zoas.

Got the noopsyche k7 mini all set up and running. The appendages was a little bit of a pain to figure out at first bug not too bad. I've currently got it peaking at 50%on white 45% on blue and 40%on purple only for it's max mid day. It's mostly running 35,30,30 most of the day. I've almost got saltwater done mixing and can fill this up and get some established rock moved over.

Tossed in some ricordea and another type of zoa. The nems have slowly started to move around today.

Here is a little peak at the back. Keeping it as simple as possible. So far not a lot of evaporation 24hrs in.

Made a few new additions yesterday afternoon. Added a gold coral banded shrimp, sadly it dropped its boxing claws when it got bagged at the shop but they tossed in a scarlet hermit to make up for it. Also found a red/green BTA in my grow out tub hiding in the rocks so that fot moved over too. Must have escaped the basket i used to keep nems in without me noticing. Moved a couple of the rocks around yesterday as my lights were going out. I rhink the only other things I'm planning on adding at this point are maybe some more zoas or shrooms and a ato unit.

5.5 gallons. Not sure exactly what happened but Tenecore was here and doing a lot on the forums for a little bit then they just vanished.

I don't know positively as he just kind of disappeared but he was having health issues which is why he would randomly disappear for a while and then come back full bore.

He's one of two brothers that started Tenecor. He sold the company to another enthusiast that he felt would maintain their quality standard. That owner did well and grew the company. It was then sold to someone that botched it all up and the company went out of business.

I think he took personal pride in Tenecor so he bought back the rights to the company and restarted it. I can say from personal experience that he cared passionately about the company and he was very honest. I cannot believe that he allowed the company to just disappear if he was in a position to intervene.

My last communication with him was when he offered to replace my tank with a new one because the fabricator that built my tank was not as experienced as some of the others and he messed up one of the top seams a little bit. The tank will never leak but it wasn't perfect so he offered to replace it, even though it was a prototype tank that I got at an absurdly good price (less than $100, including the stand). A real stand-up gentleman.

The issue seemed to be though that he didn't have a second in command that shared his passion and vision because whenever he went missing, things fell apart.

It's sad. I'm sure it was not strictly financial as he had several other lucrative businesses and this one was his hobby.
