Those are easy to tell apart. Just google some images of them and you will get it. Millepora can only really be confused with A. Spathulata.

You can also go do Divers Den in the acropora section and they do a very good job of identifying them, so you can learn from that too.

Usually, millepora is fatter and prostrata is narrow/skinnier with a more pointed tip. A. microclados will have elongated/tubular corallites that are spaced out and not on top of each other. I've seen A. prostrata not listed as a species, like A. spathulata. The difference between spaths and milli's is girth, spaths are bigger/fatter and they have a more noticeable lip to the corallite edge and they seem to lay flat or have a more open look to them, where milli's and prostrata don't. But I've seen milli's and prostrata share those characteristics too, so who knows?

Go research on aims coral glossary. It describes all you need to know.

Prostrata and millepora are the two that get confused most especially once acclimated to our tanks ime.

I should not even have mentioned it... none of those three can be confused with Microclados or Tenuis.

Sorry, that was me getting sidetracked with milli's and completely disregarding the OP's post. Apologies, I love milli's and just started to type, so sorry to deviate from the topic at hand.
Agreed, none of those species can be confused with one another. Simply doing a google image search for each will give you a lot to digest.
Again, sorry for diverting the subject, now back to your regularly scheduled program.

The Tenuis look alikes are A. euryostoma and A. vermiculata. A. macrostoma used to be but is now synonymous with tenuis

Milliepora look alikes- A. convexa, A. pulchura, A. spatulata., A. prostrata is now actually synonymous with milliepora.

Microclados look alikes - A. nasuta, A. paniculata, A. subulata

I’m going to pose a question and I truly am not intending to be flippant. If your desire is to setup a Tenuis dominant tank, shouldn’t you already know the difference? How did you arrive to this decision? Something you saw vs something you read?
